We are very intrigued by “365 Days: A Year in Happy Valley,” the ambitious documentary film project currently underway in here in State College. Its creators aim to offer a broader, more patient and detailed view of the Sandusky scandal’s aftermath. The footage and interviews with the filmmakers released so far have reflected well on its potential, and just yesterday, the 365 Days team released the second trailer for the movie, which is slated to premiere this Christmas (we were pleased to see Dr. Ben Novak, author of two of our books, make an appearance).
Here’s hoping that such an intimate portrait of our community at its most vulnerable will reveal the strong character and resolve present here in the Nittany Valley. Check out the trailer, and if you agree that their project is worth supporting, give them a hand via their Kickstarter page.
